Запорожские предприятия Группы Метинвест объявили старт конкурса «Мы – это город»

Representatives of public organizations, municipal institutions and initiative city dwellers took part in the solemn presentation of the competition. Within the event, social design trainings and panel discussions were held, where famous key branch experts of Zaporozhye took part.

The participants can submit applications in three areas – “Infrastructure improving of the city”, “Culture, Education, and Sport”, “Volunteering and patriotism”. Maximum funding for each project is up to 100 000 UAH.

We’d like to remind that the Social Initiative contest “We are the City” is held annually since 2013. During this time, there were 946 applications from Zaporozhye inhabitants to participate in the contest, 157 of the best ones were realized. The grant fund of the competition for that period amounted to 10 million UAH.

All the realized projects with “We are the City” people can see on the map Google_МЭГ that is placed on the contest website http://wearecity.zp.ua. The geotags on the map mark each of 157 projects, realized from 2013 to 2017 inclusively, and contain a short reference about the project such as name, essence of the initiative, and photos.
